Kiefer Sutherland has damaged his silence after the death of his father, Donald Sutherland.
“With a large heart, I explain to you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away,” Kiefer, 57, wrote via X on Thursday, June 20. “I personally imagine one of the most significant actors in the heritage of film”
Kiefer included that his father’s performing expertise and capacity to assimilate to any purpose was an inspiration.
“Never daunted by a role, good, bad or unsightly,” the 24 star ongoing. “He beloved what he did and did what he beloved, and a single can never ever check with for more than that. A daily life properly lived.”
In addition to the touching tribute, Kiefer shared a throwback image of him and his father. The black-and-white image showed the father-son duo from when Kiefer was a little one and the pair collected closely as they smiled for the digicam.
Donald’s induce of demise was not outlined, but Deadline reported that the 88-12 months-outdated experienced from a “long ailment.” In accordance to the outlet, a private celebration of life will be held by the Sutherland family members.
